It’s the next guy who raps well with a cool hair style
I can dig it!!!…💯✊🏾
I was too young for the stretch of Pac in mass culture, but when I talk to my older cousins…it’s really just Kanye, albeit different, who operates at that same level.
Pac is a martyr to that generation and also polarizing too while he was around. He did a lot of trailblazing stuff with fashion like being Versace’s go to model, movies, etc… and then he also had the other side with how things devolved with death row. He could operate in so many circles. Panthers, nation, fashion, Hollywood, etc etc.
I enjoy his music, but it’s also about his dynamite interviews and charisma and earnestness. Similar sort of “set to fire” everything that Kanye has.
Fool, I never said a “”contradiction”” so I guess you quoting ghost. You’re proving my point. HIS IMAGE WAS HIS BIGGEST EXPORT TO HIP HOP AND ASPIRING ARTIST. wtf are you talking about. Quoting s*** none said. I don’t care what it was. What he was first and then what he came after , that “””contradiction””” is in the whole totality of his image. And the latter half shadows the former. What part of your ed ass don’t you understand. You obviously should understand how the media and government played into casting a shadow over his former perspective. But as far as the question. DO YOU REALLY THINK…”THE NEXT TUPAC” IS GOING TO BE WELL SPOKEN AND POLITICAL?
I see what you saying
The aesthetic of being wild young aggressive and ready to die outlived anything social or political he talked about. S*** like Wayne saying “I’m the new Pac” or MMG Tupac Back
But at the same time that’s due to a lot of other factors that erased that type of stuff from the mainstream over time to date. Pac himself was well rounded and the ideal rap artist who had the social commentary, aggression and nigga s*** but could play the mainstream of his time

Kanye not on Pac level!!!…Everybody don’t wanna be Kanye!!!…Everybody wanna be Pac!!!…lol…
No one has that influence tbh
“No one man should have all that power” but on the real…Pac said that his voice would spark the brain that would bring change…so he obviously thought different…
Wayne is the closest
Not in the least bit…maybe to New Orleans…
Wayne is the closest
yep, but they like to give underhanded praise to wayne on this site so they’d never admit it on here lmao
Tupac had a unique set of situations that made him who he was.
He also went into doing serious acting roles pretty early in his career. Had profound socially conscious music and was a political activist.
I don’t think we will ever see an artist like this again. Kanye may be the closest thing considering his passion and range. As well as his life background.
We do and will have an Artist like Pac that covers those bases and even more!!!…Pac said that his “voice would spark the brain that would bring the change”…I know the brain that was sparked!!!…

I don’t think you understand what he meant by that. He wasn’t suggesting that statement being limited to a future rapper
I also don’t think you understand Pac was a once in a generation person. A unique set of situations that don’t really exist for ppl today.
