I'm sorry bro, I admire Trav's creativity, but we talking about Kanye man

We talking about the dude that was straight rapping his ass off on Gone.

We talking about the man that had one of his best verses on Gorgeous

We talking about the man that wrote his verses to NMPILA in the airplane before spittin it to go head to head with Dot.

Don't get me wrong, we gotten a fair amount of bad verses from Kanye lately, but during his prime (ghostwriters or not), it's not close.

That's the reason why I say Donald (Bino) is more a spiritual successor to Ye than Trav. I can even argue this.

Only difference that Trav was signed, had mentorship, and had a huge ass budget, while Donald had to do the slow burn and had to take many years to find his own sound

trav at his best isn't 10% the rapper prime ye is who can go toe to toe with anyone unless you want him to rapper super fast or something lol i'm just saying trav isn't as terrible as people say he is he can bar up pretty well if he wants to

I feel when it comes to discussions like this. People just leave out what made CRS so dope is that "yeah these dudes are creative, but they can spit some crazy bars". And so far the only people that can fit into that box is Tyler (obviously), Kendrick, and Donald.

yeah there's no way trav has that kind of run in him he's 12 years in we know who he is. i lowkey think frank has potential from the raps we've heard from him but that's like a dozen total. tyler and kendrick are obvious but idk i'm not really solid on gambino being in a new CRS i'd have to listen to his last few projects again
