Although this is true but what you have to understand is that the Westcoast is a very tight knit region and culture who heavily support their own, when it comes to their artists they're arguably more loyal than the South. Also keep in mind that all those Westcoast OGs are all signed to Interscope who Kendrick is also signed to. Interscope has invested millions into Kendrick's career and wouldn't let his reputation be ruined from an L from a rap beef especially with Drake because that would Kendrick's public perception which would effect sales. Remember J Prince had to step in and protect his investment aka Drake in the Pusha T beef because he is aware of all this as well
