My friends and i have been discussing this recently and no option as really felt right for the role. Until i remembered Javier Bardem

I think he has the perfect presence, accent, age, physique and he could capture the complexity and interest of the character.

His performance in No Country for Old Men is menacing and his role in mother! was tremendous.

I think he’s getting overlooked

Good point, i suppose they could cast in early to late thirties max.

Javier is exactly 50 and i suppose they could work with him being posed as late forties for the character

Javier is picky with films and has a great record . Last thing some of us want for him is to be attached to a Mcu series they churn out and lose his soul for cold hard cash
