OP literally claiming Tyler didn’t go out of his comfort zone and stayed safe when CMIYGL is different from any album he’s made before.
Like you have The Gangsta Grillz thing and also you got niggas saying he’s rapping too materialistic which was kind of the theme he was going for in the first place

It’s like he wanna give Carti credit but giving Tyler absolutely none 🤨
Tyler was rapping materialistically on Cherry bomb and CYlMGL’s way closer to previous tyler projects rhan WLR to previous carti projects
This is such cap
CMIYGL is Tyler is staying too safe, not venturing outside of his comfort zone, etc.
So you saying this isn’t cap?

it's not different in the way that WLR is different... gangsta grillz mixed with material rap was is just a slice of what rap culture was from 15 years ago lmfao
@FrankWhite6779 what do you think bro?
wlr so much better not even close
CMIYGL is Tyler is staying too safe, not venturing outside of his comfort zone, etc.

Yes, I do believe what i said
The one that goes. . .
Jump out the house, jump out the house!

And WLR is just Carti doing what he’s always done, just with distortion on like 80% of the beats but this is supposed to be boundary pushing
And WLR is just Carti doing what he’s always done, just with distortion on like 80% of the beats but this is supposed to be boundary pushing
Excuse me what sounds similar to this in Carti's discography excluding WLR?
And WLR is just Carti doing what he’s always done, just with distortion on like 80% of the beats but this is supposed to be boundary pushing
if you think some of the performances on WRL were not totally new and created with ye in wyoming you got no ears
wlr should have just been 2 albums
And WLR is just Carti doing what he’s always done, just with distortion on like 80% of the beats but this is supposed to be boundary pushing
Ok? still more of a deviation than the rest of his prior work compared to Tyler‘s album
also I never called it boundary pushing but compared to the rest of his discography it’s certainly an outlier
Whats so different about tylers album? drama hosting? cool touch but doesn’t change the music at hand which while good; isn’t radically different from what Tyler has done before
Fair point, punk monk beat is more layered, the content is some of the most significant in carti's discog, vocal inflections way more varied distinctive n ambitious, and this song is far more light hearted and easy breezy, punk monk make u wanna mosh and cry a lil bit but wipe the tear off n go back to moshing
