these guys aren't even comparable to me. they both make aggressively different films. Nolan has never attempted to tackle the topics Lee has and Lee has never attempted to capture the epic scope of a Nolan film. and that's okAY!

I prefer Spike. His films are much more introspective. His characters are more fleshed out and complex imo. Spike is interested letting the characters lead the story whereas Nolan is more focused on story, plot, and visuals.
