Yea I think a lot of people (myself included) got caught up with it being compared to S1. Of course its not better and extremely convoluted but it felt almost like a parody at times of those hardboiled tropes. Reminded me of a Lifetime movie or soap opera but totally intentional. It depends on what you want out of it.

S1 is my favorite television season ever so maybe I'm biased but I thought S2 was cool, not nearly as good and a little messy but everyone esp Taylor Kitsch killed it

Pretty sure this was the first ever movie I saw Colin Ferell in. A classic for sure.

Super suspenseful

Hitchcock actually helped conceptualize it and I think was set to direct back in the 60s but the plans fell through. Solid movie
