I’d even put the k-pop s*** over hip hop. Between pop, Reggaeton and k pop the numbers trump hip hop overall in streaming
Not in the US
On the US charts tho??? Not worldwide
Anytime I look at billboard charts there’s only one/two hip hop songs on there. Hardly ever reaching #1 for long period of time
Sure there’s a few artist that do well, but overall Hip Hop isn’t the highest charting/ selling genre in the world.
I used to think Hip Hop was the most popular genre until I looked at charts and stats
radio brought pop back but rap still dominates streaming
Not in the US
You’re right. The US hip hop is the predominant genre. I almost want to argue that country music sales a lot more as well

Only like a handful of artists. In hiphop someone like Carti can do 100k fw
It's pop and hiphop in the USA
They only putting like 8 awards on the actual show. Most genres went to the pre-show
Artists should just pull up to the pre-show but almost no one was there
This has happened pretty much every year man. Only year the rap categories were live that I remember was when chance won in 2017

You would be a dumbass
Those genres don’t have anywhere near the influence hip hop does either
