I guess I get it for major artists, but having general discussion threads for legacy or smaller artists surely isnt an issue

I understand the point is to organize discussion for specific topics

But s*** is just not going to work for artists that don’t have a big enough fan presence on this site to warrant individual threads for every release

I think enforcing albums to have their own thread is valid but to ban general artist threads is so short sighted. Pointless fragmenting of discussion is only gonna hurt small artists and annoy other users. We really need a new thread for every opinion, meme, update outside of project releases?
