Also deluxe albums were a thing for a long time. When CDs were still a thing we'd always have deluxe versions, Target deluxe exclusives, Best Buy deluxes, s*** the iTunes deluxe, Japan exclusive so on.

The concept of the deluxe album has been around forever. And its primary function has remained the same for the most part. Generate more sales. In this day and age, it's generate more streams.
