The answers’ clear but for me the decision is f***ing stupid af

If Ye took the best 12 songs from Donda (added a album cover ffs) and compiled them in a good order it may be considered one of if not his greatest album. The same can be said for CLB to a lesser extent

To make a 20+ track great album is damn near impossible, for all those tracks to be of great and to not get boring.

It stupid to me to think artist have opportunity to create legacy defining albums if they just kept their albums concise. Instead they cram a whole bunch of filler for an extra 80K in sales.

Look at albums like After Hours, Lemonade, Blonde, TPaB, all running around a hour or so with 15 or less tracks. All considered classics.

Literally the only reason artists are making these 10 track albums is for streaming, purely. And I can’t help but lose respect for artists who pander to whomever just to look cool.

Blonde and TPAB are both longer than 15 songs
