Partly enforcing a moral code and partly perpetuating a subclass. Policy is prescription. If you have a country ran by people who share similar virtues and sins of course you will see that reflected in the law to one extent or another. Criminalizing provides a pretext to police poor/minority areas more heavily, to jail poor/minority people at a higher rate, etc. Their labor is harnessed. Labor not inhibited by d**** that promote hedonism.

All of this legitimizes the pharma industry, cuts out competition, makes their intellectual property more valuable. Most people who get addicted to street d**** start with prescription d****. People talk about the opioid epidemic as if pharmaceutical companies didn't flood the country with with prescription painkillers like oxycodone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, codeine etc for a decade. Of course when people turn to heroin and meth and smuggled fentanyl you can just deflect all of that.

pharmaceutical industry is just a domestic socially accepted form of d*** addiction.

chances are we'll be dependant on d**** in our senior years to be able to live of course these are a different ball game to illegal substances, but highlights the hypocrisy of those stigmatise individuals who are into the d*** scene.

Only d*** that should be legal is weed

Depends though. Like I have no problem with decriminalizing them but legalizing them can cause students to not show up or have good grades in school which impacts their futures and such. There are actual studies to prove this.

I think Switzerland defines d*** addiction as a mental problem more so than just an addiction problem and has the government treat addiction in the same way as having a mental illness.

i assume they are referring to psychedelics which is disingenuous as they can exacerbate mental-issues with those pre-disposed to it.

from personal experience acid & shrooms ain't made my depression, or life better for that matter.

Most people who have experienced this me included. Have said they help for a short while. From around 6 - 10 months but problems still remain afterwards. But 6 - 10 months of a lift is revolutionary tbh.
