I think it’s great but I’ve see a lot of people describe it like this. Doesn’t really make any sense to me. A lot of great moments in the production but I was never thinking “wow this hasn’t been done before”
there's definitely hints of it being experimental
United in Grief and Worldwide Steppers being the standouts

It's not really that experimental. Kind of fragmented and weird at points, there are some forward thinking fusions of sounds happening, but it's more daring thematically than musically I would say.
Its not as a whole, but theres certainly experimental elements in there on several tracks
Experimental for Kendrick maybe,there are some unconventional fusions here or there,but nothing just mind blowingly "different".
I love it tho,can't imagine Kendrick dropping a neo-folk album full of 808s over sheep o*****s for 50 minutes lmao
