I think it’s great but I’ve see a lot of people describe it like this. Doesn’t really make any sense to me. A lot of great moments in the production but I was never thinking “wow this hasn’t been done before”

there's definitely hints of it being experimental

Damn you just made me realize we haven't gotten the alien flow from kendrick in a long time

    Anything not Drake:

    Experimental!

  • May 16, 2022

It's not really that experimental. Kind of fragmented and weird at points, there are some forward thinking fusions of sounds happening, but it's more daring thematically than musically I would say.

  • May 16, 2022

Its not as a whole, but theres certainly experimental elements in there on several tracks

  • May 17, 2022

Experimental for Kendrick maybe, there are some unconventional fusions here or there, but nothing just mind blowingly "different".

I love it tho, can't imagine Kendrick dropping a neo-folk album full of 808s over sheep o*****s for 50 minutes lmao

Why do People think that experimental only means “abrasive and electronic”

This album is very much experimental.
