Don’t want to make this political at all.

The new variant has taken over as the main variant in the U.S. its more contagious, but less severe symptoms for vaccinated and even some unvaccinated.

US reported over 1.9 million new cases this week alone. However, if this variant is less severe, why are people going and getting tested?

I’m thinking it’s for believers and non believers to get time off work despite many work places having zero regulations.

Anyone else surprised people are getting tested at this high rate? It’s very comparable to the common cold (unlike the past COVID strains). People cashing in for days off? It’s not surprising it’s spreading like wildfire but even non COVID believing states are breaking records lol

EDIT: Not trolling, I’m boosted and test weekly through my employment. just curious of everyone’s thoughts

If you wanna get tested who the f*** cares. Maybe those people will be around older or immunocompromised people who will be affected much harder from Covid.

You know if someone makes a thread about COVID, you know it’s gonna be some dumb s*** lmao

I also thought of that, people caring about not getting their loved ones sick, maybe even giving a s*** about their friends.

but then I thought people are generally selfish.

Im all for testing but im just shocked this many people are willing in 2022

  • Jan 1, 2022

Idk bout you but im terrified of catching this s***

Ive gone this far w/o me or anyone in my immediate fam catching it and im booked for my booster in like a week but these cases are freaking me out

How much more mild do you think Omicron is? Because it isn’t nearly as mild as you think

Probably so, but if people are this caring for their communities and families then we need to escape this mess asap

OP maybe have provided quite possibly the worst take I’ve seen about this vaccine yet

Would you be willing to go into a two week, nationwide, mandated lockdown with daily testing and social workers providing services and supplies?

Okay it’s not exactly the common cold, but for those who have been vaccinated and boosted the symptoms have been quite different from last years

And how about the unvaccinated? That still makes up a majority of the country, and COVID’s long term effects include extensive lung damage, brain damage, and sensory damage

We’re taking about this while Times Square packed with people rn
