This means artists don’t have time to develop and they don’t even have time to establish themselves because they have no catalog yet they’re expected to immediately have that s*** on
It’s contradictory, soul sucking, and exploitative
I don’t blame her
these folks with zero catalog and zero local experience are being put on massive stages
only in hip hop is talent valued so much lower than attention

most female rappers today are better known for twerking and their antics on social media, who they're dating etc. People like Glorilla, Noname, Dreezy, are rappers who blew up for the music itself, so its easier to maintain momentum in music.
