They’re mad because they’re trying hard to fit into society and align with social norms and Drake consistently (intentionally and unintentionally) challenges those social norms and stereotypes
and he gets girls while doing it lol, lots of them too
Drake is just That Guy, insecure males stay irate
Drake stans get weird though
Would have zero clue he does any of this stuff if you approaching 30s didn't repost everything he does and giggle and dap each other up over it

imagine if i was a girl
Still think half the Drake stans on this site low-key don't like him. And act extra to get more people to dislike him. I see y'all
but those same stans kill other rappers that exhibit those same quirkness.
im here for the quirky agenda im non-partisan apart from that i cant speak for the stanbase

Oh if it's Drake it's tight and overly serious but if it's Cudi we have a 500 page thread s***ting on him. Lol what a joke
I think people have a hard time coping with someone being corny their entire lives and still being able to be successful when they try their hardest to be cool and it gets them nowhere. I’m always so confused when people keep calling him corny when that’s his personality, it’s who he is. It’s been like 15 years of the same jokes. Like it’s ok to be corny guys lol

KTT is tight about almost every successful artist
Music listeners who post on the internet are passionate about good music going far. At some point around views online listeners and critics started panning his albums (Her Loss is honestly only one as of late I don’t really see dissatisfied opinions for), but his sales kept going up- Scorpion, CLB, etc still did great. It’s pretty rare for an artist to be at the top of the hip hop game sales-wise and disliked by passionate hip hop fans. Don’t think most passionate listeners can stand that, and it’s hard to argue his album quality wasn’t declining for a while there.
Like all things both extremes are a little off base and then truth is somewhere in the middle
