    I feel like basically if you're rich, someone in your family stole some s*** a long ass time ago (or more recently) and passed on generational wealth.

    education and ingenuity. I'm thinking more along the lines of JK Rowling or something along those lines.

    that's an interesting perspective though. I think in the 19th and 20th century, yea. but for the most part it's tech advancement and the exploitation of the underclass using that tech.

    Definitely a distinction between new money and old. But also definitely anyone who owns like 500+ acres I'd be interested in the history of how that land was originally "acquired"

    yea that's fair. the way history works, we'll never really know the answer though. really on some call of duty s***.
