Eh, it’s a black sheep I feel. I played it, loved it & agree, it was the best horror DOOM had to offer.
But DOOM 4 (2016), is one of the best games of all time lol.

A self created Great Extinction the likes of which hasnt been seen for millions of years. And you ask me why i am obsessed.
As you and billions of others frolic around in this frankly incredible civilization we have blossomed into i look at my hands and weep. Because I know how precious it all is and it's all going to end because humans as a species have been cursed with an excess of consciousness. Burdened by it we are driven to progress, develop, and create meaning in any way possible. In doing so we have moved mountains, sent people to space, fed billions, and also utterly raped and devastated the only place we can live on.
An unquenchable thirst for growth has placed our entire species on the precipice of death in a matter of a few thousand years. Not even a blink on a geological or universal time scale. We had such boundless potential and we somehow have just utterly f***ed it all up. Every day i mourn for that. Please shut the f*** up about why i am the way i am. I can't help it. I was born into this gorgeous hellscape and I'm just trying to make sense of it all.
