every time i'm waiting on a package it's either delayed, canceled, or gets f***ed in transit. online updates across usps, ups, fedex are so inferior to amazon's updates. does anyone know why this is? is it this bad for the people in europe? i am very #unhappy

Covid is literally just as bad as peak covid STILL for domestic mailing & shipping, & especially overseas mailing.

And in general, the USA mail system is very archaic even without covid.

But yeah with covid, theyre no gurantees or chance anymore. There are boats & plants literally still hold up for weeks & weeks.

Tech is the worst, because we literally have a chip shortage worldwide for phones, game consoles & pcs (part of the reason its hard to buy premium major electronics such as ps5s buy, theres literally not enough made). Due to covid, the factories cant get materials fast enough nor can the resourcers even produce them.

Its still a pandemic, but even then, us mail is just trash.

I live in australia, always get my packages on time, i know the postman on a first name basis now and if someones not home for a signature package he even will check back a bit later on his trip to try get it delivered that day

I ordered a leather jacket, it got lost...
I ordered a second leather jacket to a different address, serviced by a different post office, just to make sure it wouldnt happen again.

It also got lost! Thankfully both stores refunded me. The post office also lost a check in the mail for me. Overall the post office has lost over 1k worth of my s*** since the pandemic started. Never had a single item go missing in my life before covid
