Wrote there own songs, have countless of hits and there music have stood over 40 years.

When people discuss greatest bands it’s the usual one discussed. Is it because they were too pop to be considered amazing? Because only Queen come close to having that many radio classics.

    Because
    1. They were swedish as someone else mentioned
    2. They made disco music. (Popular wave at the time, so nothing groundbreaking or culturally shifting)
    3. Female fronted.

Kind of the same scenario as Supreme who were uber popular at their peak but didn't leave a memorable impact.

    Classic group.

Semi related, I got into conversation with a therapist by the Abba Museum in Stockholm. I was feeling really down at the time and the conversation we had and the trip in general , saved my life , you could say(shoutout Travis Scott). Abba will always have a special place for me now.

    In what conversation?

People love ABBA. The Swedes know their pop music.

Voules-Vouz hit it's 40 year anniversary last year. Got some good play and coverage.
