JID ain't nothing like those dudes.
Neither of them are really all that charismatic or versatile.
If you recognize X factor, JID has it. In terms of popularity, the sky is the limit for him, Forever Story has a lot of versatility, you could play a song and have it hit for a lot of different audiences.

Future can mumble some s*** about d**** and tricking off on girls who were born when he was in high school and let the beat and autotune do the heavy lifting and it’s performatively classic to niggas lol but JID who objectively is at least an above average rapper is “mediocre”
