he cant make a hit, but the motherfucker can still rap his ass off

you'd think having drake on speed dial would lock in a t15-20 song

he can, just doesn’t care enough to make one

I forget if it was drink champs( I'm 80% sure it was, I could be wrong though), but there was a recent interview where he said he either kinda forgot how to do hooks or flat out doesn't like doing hooks.

He never said he forgot bro he said he never did hooks. Rewatch the interview again. He said people usually pick the hook for him from his raps.

alright, by fault. I just want dude to rap, rap, rap, for however long he feels like, and put it out.

I'm guessing Wayne was grabbing for a hit when the maroon5 guy ended up on a song

    bad combo

  • Whoever made the tracklist f***ed up leaving Thug out. That song would've blown up

How is a adam Levine feature trying for a hit in 2020

  • Cause mainstream hip hop is more pop than ever.

    That’s a good question

I think what plays a big factor in the hit machine is the context

Daft Punk dominated again like crazy when they did RAM because everyone was burned out on the over saturated dubstep market that had just died, they brought back the core of dance music with a full on disco retro good feel album and made it cool again

I could be wrong but when A Millie dropped nothing sounded as raw as this in the game, almost freestyle, unlike the more cute and sugary stuff that was making charts

Nah it just blew up off his name alone
