If you try to actually do a thing that goes beyond here how do we monetize it and keep it organized without just making our own complete separate thing that requires us to do more than just come here and all sparingly contribute
You have to turn content already on here into articles and videos but then who gets the money and inevitable fame/notoriety when it blows up
Shame that slowly all these collection of minds will go away but maybe thats whats supposed to happen and our time here just influences and inspires us to be culture effectors in our own individual little way. Brave has some of the best industry takes I’ve seen. Insertcoolnamehere real life music/beats is crazy. Will be great to see what hadji, YNS, madeintheurl etc turn into. Lmao sadly the site will slowly die down as that happens. Time
even if the site/community does eventually die down the fact that its been going for whats coming up on two decades is pretty crazy and unique for an internet community. pretty cool to be a part of it
i was literally in the back of english class in high school on my phone tryna download GOOD Fridays singles off here and now im at the teachers desk in a classroom editing my own music videos and posting on here lmao

seen so many social apps get millions in funding that never even reached a fraction of the activity and shutdown 2 years later
showed site stats to some sv/bay area friends and their reactions were all insane

and wouldnt ever sell the site unless it was over a certain amount (8 figures. not going to be specific) and would just use half of it to fund projects from people here or someth

Jun 16, 2024I mean the site has a core group which is great. The problem imo is if you tweak to much to try to “improve” you run the risk of upsetting the core audience.
DM’s and maybe group DM’s would be a great start. Brainstorm on some new sxn’s to drive better engagement would be interesting.
But from ktt to ktt2 was a massive jump in the right direction.
