i remember at the time before it dropped peter rosenberg said this had the potential to be the best compilation ever because of those involved. (mind you a compilation is not a group album like wu tang, outkast, tribe etc)

all in all it’s not fire or a classic but it has classic singles and some good/mid songs. it was still necessary tho because it introduced travis to the exact crowd he needed and expanded pusha and sean’s catalog with more hits. kanye’s whole plan with this album was to make hits, he said that in interviews before so that kind of explains why the b-sides were meh. not gonna ignore The Dream and Fauntleroy’s great contributions too
