T-Pain will always be a legend for me. That man really changed the game. Music wise I think he got kinda stale and couldn't fit with modern sounds

In an interview with MTV, T-Pain announced that he would release his fourth studio album in November 2009 and that its title was UBER.25 He stated that although he originally wanted to release the album in the summer of 2010, his label had pushed the release forward. Regardless of these announcements, the album wasn't released in 2009. An iPhone application called "I Am T-Pain" features an auto tuner, allowing fans to record and modify their own voice to accompany an instrumental collection of T-Pain's music. It was released in September 2009.26 In July 2009, T-Pain endorsed the 2009 T-Pain Killa Cam-Pain, a grassroots effort to help him become elected as president of Florida State University.27

In June 2010, T-Pain confirmed that his fourth studio album RevolveR has been completed and mastered, but that it will not be released until album sales increase.31 He elaborated upon this in August 2010, stating that the album probably wouldn't be released until 2011

On April 1, 2013, after the announcement of T-Pain cutting off his signature dreads, he announced the title of his fifth studio album, then entitled Stoicville: The Phoenix stating, "To me, a Phoenix represents new beginnings. A new era, a new life, I'm rising from the ashes"

T-Pain stated that the two R's in the word, RevolveЯ have been capitalized so that in the middle, it says "evolve", indicating that T-Pain has evolved as an artist, and as a person in the period from Thr33 Ringz up till RevolveЯ. He later stated that the R's were put to show how people can be deceived, and precept incorrectly without looking at the inside of things, and he then said that this will be the scheme of the album.

On his Twitter he stated that he would release his prEVOLVEЯ mixtape when he gets 500,000 followers and release his album RevolveЯ when he gets 1,000,000 followers

On February 27, 2019, the same day T-Pain was revealed to be the winner of the first US season of The Masked Singer, he released a surprise new album titled 1UP and announced a new U.S. tour in support of it

i figure he had to be much worse behind the scenes than his public persona suggests. the fact that future's brother told him "fuck you and everything you stand for" when he asked for a collab tells me he probably did some s*** that gave him an extremely bad reputation in the industry. also kanye making an entire diss song towards him.
