When you got 100 million in your bank account then can't be too much flopping going on

Again he dropped Rich Forever that same year for free

The first Port Of Miami actually went platinum years later but Deeper Than Rap/surviving 50 is when he started getting taken more seriously as a top rapper

dropping rich forever was one of the mistakes in his rollout imo

he shouldve just released 1 cohesive album

he had the hype and the music to make a great album that ppl would hold in high regard like TD or higher

instead he released 1 mixtape that trap fans like and 1 album that even fewer ppl like

maybe it was a bit chaotic behind the scenes cos he had to manage mmg at the same time

but he damn sure didnt need to release a mixtape to create buzz or anything like that

Nicki, Kendrick and Ross had the top 3 1st week sales for a Hip Hop album that year.

Nicki and Kendrick both went platinum multiple times with those albums.

    Ross only went Gold.

You're talking about the longevity of those albums

    I'm talking a single year

    Ross and MMG ran 2012

  • MMG had a good year.

But GFID underperformed and showed Ross wasnt on the same level as a Jeezy or a TI.
