i don't think he's moved on yet but he could easily have saved it up for the next project . he has carried over many nearly finished songs to next projects and radically altered them. him adding the song later on to the current album would have been an anomaly anyways, he's only did it once for saint pablo to tlop. only once out of 10 albums. i expect him to announce a new project in few weeks that will probably be announced for few months away and then not drop then, and get delayed again.

Real "chess move" he could've made was just leaking 3000's verse and then when the full song comes out people would look at Kanye even more weird for airing out his personal beef while 3000's verse is sentimental and actually stays on topic of being a tribute to Kanye's mom.
All in all though, track should've just stayed in the vault, or been an Andre 3000 solo track from jump.
