the truth is that Thug himself didn’t want it on the tracklist, but “Lyor ruined Thug’s artistry” is such a big meme that people actually believe anything now as long as it paints Lyor as the bad guy

only reason PUTP dropped instead of Yea Yea is bc Travis leaked it himself & made a whole big deal about it, and it still only wound up as a bonus track on Jeffery bc it was recorded in February/March 2016.
Tumay was literally mixing Yea Yea when the song leaked, and it was immediately scrapped bc of the leak. Jeffery would’ve sounded a LOT different if the Travis stans weren’t leaking all Trav’s 2016 sessions within mere months of being recorded. maybe Yea Yea would’ve still made the final tracklist & there might’ve even been more songs added so that Yea Yea wouldn’t seem so out of place. but what’s done is done
