Because NASIR was a rushed project that Nas didn't put his time or energy into. You can tell he just didn't care about that project.
With King's Disease, you can tell that was his REAL proper studio album since "Life Is Good" back in 2012. He was doing all the promotion for it too, hyping the album up. He didn't do none of that with NASIR.

pretty much, kanye pulled him into it but he wasnt really feelin it too much it was just a rush job
he had better chemistry with hit boi and they actually took their time making the album

madison beer guyIt's been said a few times that Nasir was basically just Kanye making beats that he wanted to hear Nas on. Probably wasn't all that collaborative. All that said, I much prefer Nasir.
If nas is such a great rapper, he should be able to rap on most beats
