The album was solid. We’re also in a pandemic and it’s been a really weird year. Honestly he probably should have waited til 2021 when bigger artist are expected to drop.

PGLTM is widely regarded as his best work so he definitely still had the juice after BOATS.
Even Rap or Go to The Leagues was great and showed his lyrical ability more.

I think
this album just dropped at a weird time
it had no real lead up promotion or hit single like his last two projects
no big features beside Ye and he isnt too popular himself now days
and the push back releases didnt help either
