Black owned and owned by artists
Seems like something #ForTheCulture got sold out
Ive never watched it but I'm interested in hearing your thoughts
Apple Music also touches a lot more people, having it on the browse page brings in more people to watch
So they sold out

Pretty sure they had like 500k views on some of them before Apple
Could have saved Tidal
Seems like they took the biggest cheque that came at them

Idk I feel like they could have also lost viewership
Tidal has had big surges from Beyoncé and Kanye and other artists but their issue is keeping the people who sign up for a free trial
And if you already used the free trial I think ppl would use Instagram instead.
Apple Music = more money and eyes, with the chances of saving tidal is super low. Also while building a brand it’s super important to get the most money possible it’s not to look down upon
I mean what do you expect. They're a business, if Tidal offered me a bad deal, I'd give two f***s that it was black owned.
Sad to see something organic get commercialized and hauled off to be on just one platform but that's just capitalism.

Good business move yeah but they're already rich celebrities
Calling it "#ForTheCulture" then selling to Apple seems disingenuous
Jay z really finessing y’all boys
It's still black owned though isn't it?

Eh sure but if I’m verzuz I’m not taking less to give Jay z and Beyoncé a bag just because they’re black.

A lot more artists own Tidal, Rihanna, Cole, Nicki and others. And they pay artists more per stream
If you're already rich you're selling to a white owned company like Apple?

y'all see "Tidal" in op or title and immediately post this pic every time
Obviously for money.
I don't even think people would scour to Tidal over Instagram to view battles anyway.
