Little Richard, Isley Brothers and Curtis Knight were black
Just happened that the stuff be played with the Experience is the stuff that blew up

It's better to say that racism played a part in the Experience blowing up in the US how they did, because that was definitely a major part of the reason.
It was the 60s/70s after all. Having two white guys in your rock band when you are the Black frontman definitely helps open up doors. No fault of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell of course. Just how the world was at the time unfortunately. The UK at least seemed to be less s***ty about it, which is why they blew up fairly rapidly out there.

that was the case for countless artists for sure but Hendrix just happen to write all his immortal hits when he was with the white boys. if he did another studio album with the Gypsies im sure it wouldve been another big classic.

i'd say most white boomers and probably most white gen x people know b.b. king
not many white millennials and white gen z people know him
you most likely know a lot more black guitarists if you've listened to music very deeply for at least 20 years
