basically become the replacement to late night tv or traditional radio interviews. same with actors/celebs/politicians doing podcasts

a lot of us don't tbh im almost 29 so im in the same boat as you but i also work at a high school so i see kids watching streamer clips and talking about it all day these are some of their biggest celebrities

i also think there's an appeal to seeing someone famous in a "normal" setting, just chilling for long periods of time vs the old days of the super prepped and media trained short appearance on a late night show or even a slightly more curated and edited podcast appearance
