I’m not and that has nothing to do with anything

    Race obsessed people really weird

It has something to do with this very much so. You are in here advocating to say a word from a slur you will never be called.

If that's not race obsessed I don't know what is.

That's not facts, it's bs and what I said applies to those who do say it.

Stealing? It's abuse of a word derived from a slur, it's not some silly movie situation. People dip into culture and trying to dilute it into slang matters.

Black people were the ORIGINATORS of relcaiming the slur, not majority. This is how I know you don't know the history of it and therefore just talking that loud. So many things happen in the world that shouldn't, that lots of people do. If you say a word relcaimed from a slur cause everyone does it you aren't any smarter than a child whining that you can't throw rocks cause you saw someone else do it. It's not pop culture it's Black no matter how many times yall try to erase history.

Black history is important to me, so I will continue to care about it.

My guy we all know the origins. We all know y’all wanted to reclaim it. Congrats it worked. That doesn’t mean you OWN the word and nobody else can say it.

You aren’t seeing how dumb that sounds? It’s a WORD.

You can sit there and break down the history of how -er became -a but you can’t process the past couple of decades and see how there has been more evolution? This is how language works.

This is the result of a multi cultural society. S*** starts blending together. You gonna have to get used to it now or later.

Ehh idk if this is gonna anger folks but growing up in NYC as a kid, I was used to hearing Puerto Rican’s and Dominicans saying the word growing up.

Like I can somewhat understand people who ain’t from the east coast getting pissed over their use of it.

But growing up in hoods where we were all bunched up together and going through a lot of the same BS I never really reacted to it.

Not to mention growing up there was a serious sense of community among us.

It's not just a word, that's what you refuse to get in your head.

It has not evolved past the fact it's DERIVED from a slur, you messing with history to excuse people feeling overly comfortable isn't gonna work.

People STILL say the -er, and racists will use -a against Black bodies in a racist manner too. That's why you can't just walk away from what it came from.

Living together doesn't mean we are all the same or equal. I will not get used to anything and I don't need to. Forcing Black people to agree to be called nigga by nonblacks cause too many of y'all feel y'all can just say it is why some of y'all will end up smacked.

The origin has nothing to do with it. It’s a simple word with a simple meaning and it’s very flexible. And it’s everywhere. Hip hop is the most popular genre, slang is no longer region locked, the internet is a thing.

And I’m not even advocating anyone can use it. I just said anyone from the hood can say it regardless of race. I already said suburban kids saying it is corny.

Most dominicans are a bunch of niggas.

You can say the same for Puerto Ricans lol but y'all need to quit. I've seen many non black POC get their ass whooped for saying nigga and I'm in Brooklyn.

As a kid you don't have proper context for things like slurs. As an adult, if you know the history of the word and that it is a racial epithet and not just another hood slang word you need to have some respect and not stand for being called a nigga by somebody who isn't one.

First sentence and you already told a lie.

it does. It's not a simple word at all. All words have meaning, you erasing history reflects part of meaning is not only lazy but ignorant for all language as it exist.

This is the some of the most unintelligent ways of understanding language.

You keep mentioning it's everywhere, and so is anti Blackness so I guess that's the only part that makes sense cause it's two sides of the same coin.

You have no right to police any Black person on saying nigga burbs or not.

Oh well when you said “y’all need to quit” idk if you’re referring to me thinking that I’m Puerto Rican but I’m black.

And I’m not gonna cap most of the niggas I seen out here reacting to non black POC saying nigga are black folks that ain’t even become proud of their blackness till like 2014.

I’m not gonna justify non black POC saying that s*** or say that it’s okay but a lot of the outrage on the internet and in person be forced.

Cuz even as an adult I haven’t seen niggas that actually grew up in the hood react to that s*** like I see the suburban kids do on the internet
