    Baphomet is a corruption of a pagan god, who iirc was originally good nature

    Christians of old had beef with pagans because of their multi god culture and their rituals (which most werent even crazy) but yet christians of old took their deities and remixed them (mostly into various demons to villify them even further - like what happened to vikings being depicted with horn helmets even tho their actual helmets didnt have horns - it was meant to call them demons in the depictions with the added illustrated horns which became their mainstream iconography) while also taking their rituals and turning them into various holidays and festival activities.

    Such as christmas and decorating the tree - which chritmas of gift giving was a pagan tradition and decorating trees was a pagan ritual. As an example. Christians destroyed then appropiated a lot - in terms of stuff outside the bible.

    When you look into it; a lot of things in USA & UK come mostly from Pagans & Celtics in this regard

    Such as Christmas is Pagan & Halloween is Celtic, etc.
