I feel like on his albums he purposely ranges between a lot of different tones and pitches with his voice depending on the perspective he’s rapping from. “Fear” is a great example of this. Goes from kid, to hopeless teen, to adult in each flow. Or when he’s rapping from the perspective of “Lucifer” on Butterfly. I think that stuff is well done bc it is for a purpose. But I can see if someone thinks that’s not musically pleasing to them. There’s some misses for me, especially with standalone singles. But as a body of work with the albums, I appreciate Kendrick.
The “man” when his plan to override Kendrick’s legacy on KTT is working 2 days in a row
Who?
Go check twitter, s*** my friend yesterday just told me she finds his voices annoying too. Been hearing this criticism since 2015
