he did a lot of charity work and no I'm not only talking about that one vlog. his last social media post ever was literally about doing a charity event.

he went out of his way to spend time with victims of the parkland shooting at the hospital for hours a day. he didn't post anthing about that on social media. the only reason we know about this is because one of the victims posted about it years later.

and while it may not appeal to you a lot of kids found guidance in his words on social media. go on the X subreddit and see how many kids saw him as someone to look up to.

he was 100% trying to change for the better. the entire SAD! music video is about that. he's literally putting his old self to rest in that video.

he was a very f***ed up individual in his youth/adolescence, seemed like he was trying to better himself, was killed before he even became an adult.

thats all there really is to it. none of us truly know who he would have become and the things he would have done if he was given more time on earth. people on both sides try to do all these mental gymnastics about who he was and what his life meant but end of the day it was just a story that only had a beginning and maybe the start of a middle.

appreciate the good he did and condemn the bad, he was not a wholly evil or wholly good person, no one is.
