why I prefer it over stocks and bonds? you are a non voting shareholder when you invest in a company that’s publicly traded. You have absolutely no say in the decision making process & your hard earned money is in the hands of people whose intentions are everything but transparent.
when you own property, you pick the location, you chose how its designed & you chose the tenants; you make decisions and take the risks based off of what you think is best for you. It obviously takes more time and effort, but your hard earned investments took time and effort to attain, and if you don’t put that same time into understanding your investments, your gambling
Yeah I agree, anyone who invests in businesses they have no knowledge of or just because its the cool thing to do ie. Apple is bound to have a negative experience.
