Like when my dad found out I got COVID from the concert he thought it was me from sweating a lot and walking out into the cool weather, even though it wasn't cold at all. When I try to explain that I was around lots of people he thinks that has nothing to do with it and if I "brought a jacket with and wore it" then I wouldn't have contracted the virus.

Worse part is if I disagree then he starts to get agitated

This is the same person who thinks that if I showed up to my place with a fresh cut and looking nice they would've allowed me to stay and not quarantine

You’re right, but the effectiveness of the human immune system does plummet when exposed to colder temperatures, it’s just science. Breathing in cold air is not good for you by any metric.

Idk some of those things are dumb but a lot of wives tales like that have seeds of truth

I i aint gonna lie, every time the temp has a crazy swing from like 75 to 55 over a day i always get a sore throat.
