I think it has something to do w the audio compression from the vids and the speakers that they playing the music blasting the song.

Yeah sometimes the trunk knocking sound of a sub you hear in a snippet, can’t be replicated in the actual song

-the snippet becomes familiar. if u listen to it a lot ur brain knows it so well that it wont like any changes found on the finished version regardless of whether or not these changes are for the better. Familiarity bias or demoitis in the music world.

-natural reverb and ambience of the room can add a lot of depth to an otherwise underwhelming track. theres a story about a weeknd song that had the snippet blow up. The snippet had all kinds of crowd noise and stuff that was incorporated into the final version to not disappoint fans of the snippet.

-brains like repetition and if ur listening to the same 15 seconds over and over ur gonna get to know all the quirks and grow to rlly love that tiny portion of the song. kind of the same thing as the first point.
