emoceanyou're right. just some more thoughts, kind of rambling a bit:
I think the key is that even if you're interested in f***ing, that can't be THE reason you're becoming friends or it's false pretenses. If you're attracted to a girl sexually and you also see her as being a potential long term partner, go for a romantic relationship. If she's not interested in that, mayyyybe she's down to just hook up. But if that's not the vibe either, you gotta be okay with just being platonic friends. If you genuinely think she's cool then it shouldn't be a problem, unless you really can't handle rejection.
but to your point there are so many different ways those situations can turn out and so many little differences depending on the people involved.
and ALSO all that being said, sexual attraction isn't the same thing as romantic attraction, BUT if you are sexually attracted to someone and you then become their friend it does run the risk of romantic feelings developing, because familiarity can breed those feelings.

ofc man we are talking about the regular day to day conversation tho. these are things that every friend talks about, but not everyday. ive discussed family life, differences in my friends family lives, but that isnt a day to day convo man.

when you been known someone for 20 or so years, which i'm sure is not that much to some OGs on this site, but when you known someone for 20 years, there's only so much s*** that can be talked about that has not already been touched on, and most of that s*** is current events type culture or news.
