I’m not disagreeing with this at all as I deal with mental issues myself. I just feel the workplace is no place to let those things out you know? I have a therapist and I feel I benefit highly from the private conversations we have together

Society plays a part but it’s also natural. Women arent programmed to deal with emotional men. They view it as a form of weakness

Manual labor - That isn't just exclusive to men. As for why there are more men who do manual labor kinda jobs over women. Most times it is men who are in charge of manual labor jobs who do not hire women, as they are viewed as weaker than men.

Expecting to push through everything with hardships because you’re a man - This is something that has been pushed by...men. The whole "bootstraps" mentality is propagated almost entirely by men.

Provide for yourself - This is something that has been pushed...by men. Even then, women provide for themselves as well. So I'm not entirely sure what your point is here. Everybody provides for themselves. The idea of the stay at home mother while the father goes out and works hasn't been a realistic idea for decades. In most two parent households, both the man and woman are working to provide for one another and the family.

Learning when to show your feelings and how to control them - It is often men who push the idea that showing feelings is "bitch made" and that you aren't a real man or strong if you show emotion. S***, there was a time (and it still goes on) when men who sought out therapy were shamed for it and shunned by their peers because they were viewed as "feminine".

Dealing with other men - You want women to deal with men or some s***? What happened to "Men aren't supposed to hit women"? A moral code created and enforced by other men?

It’s not exclusive to men but men do it more even on jobs that aren’t necessarily “manual labor” based such as things like restaurant cooks or fast food cooks. The men will be doing most of the physically demanding work and not just lifting heavy things.

It has been pushed by men but by women as well. Saying it hasn’t isn’t exactly being truthful.

It’s pushed by women too is my point. Providing for yourself in terms of having your s*** together. Not depending on parents or other people for a bit of money etc etc or having sugar mommas or daddy’s.

Women do too. They can scream and curse at a man but the second a man raises his voice they sometimes play the victim. Or crying or showing “weakness” in front of some women will lead to a broken relationship. Yes it’s the fault of that one women not all but it’s a bigger percent of women than many like to make it out to be.

I’m talking about how men treat other men. Theirs a difference and I’m not talking about not hitting a woman but just in general.

i am studying in the field of psychology and have hundreds of thousands of research articles at my disposal and have never heard of some "women are programmed to not f*** with emotional men"
