This. Kendrick was already compared to Nas from the jump, so him stealing the show is expected.

Eminem was just a White Boy that had bars until Renegade and Nas saying Em murdered Jay on it in Ether.

Em's verse being at worst on par with Jay's is even more impressive bc Em's verses were old and from the OG Renegade with Royce. So Jay in his prime recorded his verses way after Em did and Em's verses still held up.

That's way more impressive imo.
