Autotune is actually on the come up but as long as I can remember 2pac, biggie, eazy e have been praised here. The fact they died, making them immune to most criticism helps too. Im just speaking on europe tho. I know in the balkan states especially eminem is loved. Theres like an universal accepted idea that autotune artists have no talent. Its hard to argue against. I think the guy talking about rebelling is right a bit. There was never a need to rebel against 90’s hip hop since the majority of the parents didnt listen to hip hop. I feel like the whole reason autotune etc got popular is cause people got tired of hearing the same s*** again and just wanted to let go and listen to wack s*** regardless of what people say.
