Been on forums since I was like 13 or 14. It’s just normal for me to be on it. It’s like checking IG, and any other social media.

People I know in real life aren’t into the same s*** as I am. Plus you find new s*** on forums.

Im addicted to likes and the validation I feel from getting them.

Forums are generally better than sites like reddit and twitter. They're more conversational and the interactions feel more genuine. A small userbase makes it feel more intimate.

The people

It sounds weird but i feel like i know so many users' personalities just by how they post (even if i havent interacted with them much)

That’s not necessarily a bad thing, to make connections like that you have to be posting a lot or have a niche that attracts people.
