This weird puritanical view of s***only results in deep rooted dislike of women over time, I don’t get why people are so scared of sexuality

literally no one itt is making this point, i dont understand why yall keep falling back on this.

    theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/12/the-sex-recession/573949

People are having less s***in general, 25% of Japanese people aged 18-39 are virgins. Sexual activity in American highschools has dropped from 35% in 2007 to 29% in 2017, and i would assume that rate is growing. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp, the abundance of high quality, readily accessible p*** has killed peoples desire to have ACTUAL sex.

losers weren't a thing before the rise of p***/the internet. It distorts peoples views of women and peoples idea of s***in general. This is especially true for young kids who are easily influenced by their surroundings. Some people who jerk off too much can't finish or keep it up when actually f***ing, which makes s***way less enjoyable and pushes them further down the p*** rabbit hole.

Voyeurism is not real sex. Not even close.

Don’t agree with the claim that losers didn’t exist before the internet. The internet allowed those types of people to communicate more easily and form a collective identity, but there were definitely virgins who felt frustrated by their lack of success with women way before internet p*** became a thing.

Did internet p*** exacerbate the situation? Probably yes but it’s also not the main root of many of the issues you’re bringing up, way more complex than that.

Yes. It's impossible for two people to raise a kid while also not exclusively having s***with each other. Because all married people are constantly having sex. Also f*** the idea that a community of people can raise a child

Having multiple sexual partners literally increases the risk of unwanted pregnancies and fatherless children, which contributes to the degradation of society. This is a fact.

But the whole idea of Onlyfans and the men actually paying for it is more shameful than the actual women performing the acts for money imo. It’s too embarrassing and private for this situation to be corrected,it’s these men choice to pay for this service.

Even if we were able to somehow confront the business of Onlyfans with reasonable reason to stop it,what would be the point in the end? The simps and women making bank lose, everyone loses. Its really a problem that can’t be addressed but needs to addressed at the same time.

I mean yeah but I think if you identify as an loser you want to be having sex. It’s not like they’re just cool with masturbating everyday, they feel that’s their only option since they can’t get women irl.

You’re right that in the past these types of guys would be forced to keep hitting on women until they succeed, but that probably also resulted in a lot more instances of sexual harassment and rape as well when woman reject them...

I don't think it's as big of a deal as you think. The bigger issue lies with parents needing to talk to their kids about what it means to have sexual thoughts, not demonizing them for thinking about it, and teaching them to express those thoughts and act on them in a healthy and safe way.

I grew up in the Ipod touch era as a middleschooler when the internet p*** era was just starting to explode and I definitely used it for p*** a lot because my parents wouldn't find out. I turned out fine

It’s just another form of content ownership moving back to creators because of advances in technology

I can’t even count how many of my friends get mad that these girls have it easier, but I bet any amount of money they probably would invest in something like onlyfans secretly lmao.

Yeah you and I turned out fine but a lot of kids do not. I guess we just differ on the dangers of it.

I'm all for s***workers, expressing sexuality, and normalizing that s***, but i draw the line at kids watching p***.

I wouldn’t directly associate the two, because the reasons for onlyfans success is distinct to the climate we’re in, whereas p*** is popular simply because it targets a primal urge.

To answer your question though Onlyfans plays on the idea of entrepreneurship, but it did not invent the concept of independently selling s***for money online. What they did do is meme the site into the daily lexicon of people online. You would think Onlyfans invented p*** with the way people passionately speak for/against it. It’s really just marketing.

Also you’re exaggerating the amount of women getting into Onlyfans. It’s not that many. Even less see success from it.

You could also argue that p*** devalues women and objectifies them even further in the eyes of men, making men more aggressive towards them.

    irishtimes.com/news/crime-and-law/is-pornography-driving-increased-sexual-violence-in-ireland-1.3508313?mode=amp

There are studies that say p*** increases sexual assault and studies that say the opposite.

"Exposure to p***ography is routine among children and young people, with a range of notable and often troubling effects. Particularly among younger children, exposure to p***ography may be disturbing or upsetting. Exposure to p***ography helps to sustain young people’s adherence to sexist and unhealthy notions of s***and relationships. And, especially among boys and young men who are frequent consumers of p***ography, including of more violent materials, consumption intensifies attitudes supportive of sexual coercion and increases their likelihood of perpetrating assault. While children and young people are sexual beings and deserve age-appropriate materials on s***and sexuality, p***ography is a poor, and indeed dangerous, s***educator."

All in all, you really cant argue that p*** has had a beneficial impact on society and young people. P*** + poor sexual education is a recipe for disaster.

Yeah I feel that sexual education is the key ingredient there. Making sure young people who are exposed to p*** understand that it’s generally not representative of healthy sex. With better s***education in place I think it could be a net positive with respect to sexual violence.
