half the game dont f*** w him and half the game love him
Not true, the Game came through to vest him up,
And he got a vest for 40, a vest for Hush.
First the Fat Boys break up, now every day I wake up
Somebody got a problem with Hov'
Whassup y'all niggas all fed up cause I got a little cheddar
And my records moving out the store?
And then the Fugees gon' break up, now everyday I wake up
Somebody got something to say
What's all the f***ing fussing for? Because I'm grubbing more
And I pack heat like I'm the oven door?
Niggas pray and pray on my downfall
But every time I hit the ground I bounce up like round ball
Not true, the Game came through to vest him up,
And he got a vest for 40, a vest for Hush.
A vest for every nigga with an owl on his chest and what
It comes with the terrortory, Hov went through the same thing
First the Fat Boys break up, now every day I wake up
Somebody got a problem with Hov'
Whassup y'all niggas all fed up cause I got a little cheddar
And my records moving out the store?
Classic
It's a mixture of Drake's success and his competitive nature. Just because Drake is the most popular rapper doesn't necessarily mean he had to be in so many beefs. He could have ignored them or focused on other things (Think about less confrontational top-tier rappers like Ye, Nelly, Kendrick, emphasis on less, because they've each had their fair share of beef). A lot of Drake's beef problems came from his own approach and "attack-early" mentality. Fortunately, in recent years he did some self-evaluation and backed off this aggressiveness a little bit.
