I'm interested to hear why you think his music is not worthy of merit from this time period
Smack That, Drama Setter, We Ain't, Lloyd Banks - Hands Up, did alright for a "cheap sounding" era (Snap/ringtone era)
His fat sounding voice from this period is lit
u forgetting his magnum opus
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=um4-d7VzZiEI don't understand how people can hate on this but then listen to the accents on Relapse (And on relapse it's there the entire album)
People hate on Smack that? That's news to me, massive chune imo
That might be the exception but it's indicative of his sound from this period
dat king mathers flow his best
coulda been the #mumblerapGOAT
sounding like ye when he got his jaws wired shut
dat king mathers flow his best
coulda been the #mumblerapGOAT
sounding like ye when he got his jaws wired shut
Him saying "this s*** is too easy" after I just spent an excruciating few minutes listening to this. Feels like he's taunting me

Beautiful N. Deja vu don’t have it Elevator as well

u forgetting his magnum opus
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=um4-d7VzZiEThis song is so bad it’s good.
He made novelty music at this point
There was no feeling in any of it, they didn’t even sound like songs most the time just weird d***ged out concepts or jingles
His music sounded like the equivalent of those bobble head pitbulls people used to have on the front of their dash, funny at first but easily became outdated and corny
u forgetting his magnum opus
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=um4-d7VzZiEI had successfully wiped this from my memory jesus what the f***
It's insane which songs get the shine at this time for Em cause it actually has some of the best music he ever released
I'm sure most people know this already but if you look into the backstory of this album, all the songs that leaked in 2003 were planned to be on the album. He had to put them on the bonus disc
He dropped a full second album with D12 the same year that released in early 2004 and they were shooting videos / promoting this while he was still working on his next album
And then he ended up saving this song as a single for the greatest hits album the next year
Encore got pushed to November 2004 which was the first time any of his albums came out that late. They usually dropped in spring
It really was a combination of overworking, crunch time and d*** use
