Soda goated
That said I gave it up 3 years ago
I was just thinking about this the other day so maybe you can help me understand
why do people feel like they need to completely give up the things they enjoy that aren't good for them? is it a thing where if you have one soda (or whatever) that the dam will break and you'll be having 3 a day? or is it just the principle of it? like for me I've cut back heavily on soda and other unhealthy things but I'll still indulge in them occasionally and I don't really see the massive harm in having a soda maybe once a week/month or something.
idk I thought about it bc I saw an old tv show or something where a middle aged woman was talking about how she hadn't had chocolate in 4 years or some s***. it's just kinda weird to me to totally cut off something you really enjoy instead of just being more disciplined about it and having it occasionally. what's your perspective though?
Nah aint really be drinking soda, maybe once in a blue moon. Water is what im drinking 95% of the time, the other 5% is natural orange juice
Ngl tho, if i lived near a place that had milshakes, i know i would be drinking that s*** a lot
milkshakes are so f***ing good. I like a classic vanilla one

For my sakes I’m trying to lose weight and I see it as empty calories when I could eat something instead and have a water with it. Once I’m a healthy weight and maintaining I’m sure I could have one in moderation, but for now I’m still trying to lose and not having soda just makes it easier to not go over the calories I’m trying to have per day.
Down 60 pounds rn with that mentality
i'll have a can of full fat red coke every now and then, cant be drinking that s*** every day tho
"UGH couldn't even IMAGINE drinking that DISGUSTING S***" Boy stfu
once you go without soda for a while, you lose the want for it. That's what y'all should want to happen
That’s a joke right?!

honestly struggle to have a full can
once I stopped for a long while and I lost a lot of weight without any exercise. there's SO much sugar in those drinks. I still love the taste though.
Funny enough this week I started my soda cut again so seeing this thread is interesting.
Tryna be sober completely too smh.
Americans fr discovered the health benefits of water and social media accounts been full of REMINDER TO DRINK WATER posts ever since
Best social trend I've seen in a minute tbh
i like soda
but its definitely unhealthy and bad for your skin. if i do drink i do drink the lighter colored sodas
I can't speak for anyone else but I rarely drink soda. I'll have a fountain soda at a fast food restaurant a few times per year, if I get a value meal or whatever (normally I would just buy the sandwich/fries and an ice water, but sometimes it's literally is cheaper to get the value meal). I never buy soda from a grocery store.
Ice water is by far my preferred drink. It's not even a health decision, I just don't really enjoy carbonated sugar syrup water. My vice when it comes to sugar is candy or ice cream, not in a beverage.
sprite, strawberry fanta, rootbeer 🔥
most soda is pretty trash to me but the ones i like i drink a fair bit but im finding myself enjoying it a lot less
i drink water but if i want like a flavored drink i’d prefer a powerade
stopped drinking it at 16 bc high school @sports mentality or some s*** and i've had it maybe 10 times max over the 6 years or so since then. i drink probably 3 cups of coffee a day plus the occasional sugar-free energy drink so i still get my caffeine, but soda just always seemed like poison to me after i quit. y'all sitting here sipping high fructose corn syrup
couldn't be me man
