Doesn’t “slap” at the hypothetical parties they never go to, or in the “whip” they don’t actually have
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nigga u been ethering the whole site all week now
Doesn’t “slap” at the hypothetical parties they never go to, or in the “whip” they don’t actually have
I mean, some people on here hate on it, but if we ran a survey right now of favorite albums, TPAB (and GKMC) would rank very highly. There's just a loud minority of haters that want to be edgy contrarians.
Because the album doesn't have production from Insert generic trap producer here
Doesn’t “slap” at the hypothetical parties they never go to, or in the “whip” they don’t actually have
I've seen more hate from twitter though. But in general making afrocentric rap in 2020 is "white apologist" music because some rap listeners are white??? smh makes no sense
Haven’t jacked off all month

This the one

And this is extra stupid because white rap fans are even more prevalent in the mainstream, which TPAB had no real interest in courting. There are gonna be white rap fans anywhere you look, no point in getting upset about it.

It's just subjective opinions at the end of the day
Real ones know this album doesn't need the validation of KTT nerds
In 2015, there was a cold war between Kendrick and Drake stans.
Drake had a strong year, dropping 2 number one mixtapes that went plat, dropping Hotline Bling, winning the beef with Meek, and bracing for Views.
Kendrick had critical acclaim but his songs on TPAB were unorthodox and didn't get much play on urban radio(and parties). And he wasn't talked about as much as Drake(or Future)
So a lot of Drake stans were spreading this meme about TPAB being "critic bait" or how nobody listens to it irl.
As Drake stannery died down after 2016, those memes died down and the album stood the test of time.
white people tryna act black
black people tryna fit white peoples narrative of what black people are
This tbh
They think it makes them look more “black” to scream to the heavens about how much black people don’t care about TPAB
There really should be an instrumental version already. The prod is too good
Me when For Sale? instrumental starts playing
